From the machine up to the model.
I started in mechatronics at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, building and fixing the machines themselves. Now I study Computer Science and Design at SUTD, focusing on AI and cybersecurity.
These days most of my time goes into AI agents: at Fujifilm, and in my own projects. My hardware background helps, because a good agent, like a good machine, has to act reliably in the real world.

Sep 2026 – Apr 2027AI Engineer · Industry project with SUTD
Part of a team of seven building an AI assistant for Fujifilm’s business customers. It answers questions from company knowledge and takes real actions, like opening support tickets and ordering supplies, with approvals built in. I work on how the agent is put together and which models it runs on.

Built a Python tool that sorts client files for vulnerability reports automatically, and designed an AI agent that helps the team prioritise security findings.

Set up the motion control for the startup’s main machine and connected it to their ordering app, so customer orders run the system on their own. Took it from prototype to a working product.

Sep 2025 – Jan 2026Firmware Developer & Test Intern · Hearing-aid maker
Wrote firmware for a hearing-aid charger in a regulated medical-device setting, and automated its testing so problems were caught earlier.

Tested and debugged industrial sensors before release, signed off five products, and set up the live demo room used to show them to clients.

Lanterns
Type an idea, like “a dragon guarding a bridge”, and the agent researches it, plans it, reuses parts it has built before and designs an animated 3D model. It checks its own work and fixes mistakes before showing the result.

An agent that asks what would give you hope, searches today’s news for real good news on it, and turns the best stories into a short slide deck. Built from scratch, with its own tool servers, to learn how agents really work.

My first agent, from the Hugging Face Agents course. Ask about any Pokémon and it looks up the real stats by writing and running its own tool calls.
